Jugaad Gaadi privacy policy

Last updated: 6 October 2026.

Jugaad Gaadi is a game by Mixinfire (https://mixinfire.in/). You build scrap vehicles and drive them on Indian roads. The whole game works offline. The internet is used only for ads, for purchases and for a time check that keeps the daily rewards fair. This policy explains what happens to data when you play.

What the game stores on your device

What the game does not do

No accounts, no sign-in, no chat, no messages between players, no friend lists and no typing of names or other text. No precise location, no contacts, no microphone, no camera, no photos or files from your phone. There is no developer server: apart from the time check below, which carries no data about you, the game sends nothing to Mixinfire. This version contains no analytics or crash-reporting service (no Firebase Analytics, no Crashlytics), so it sends no analytics of your play and no crash reports, and Settings shows no crash-report switch. The game does not sell personal data.

Time check

The free daily crate, the daily coins of a Jugaad Pass and the daily-route bonus can be claimed once a day. So that changing the phone's clock cannot claim them early, the game asks a web server for the current date and time: when it starts, and when you open the daily crate or the daily route (at most once every 10 minutes). It sends an empty request (an HTTPS "HEAD" request) to Mixinfire's website, mixinfire.in, and, only if that fails, to firestore.googleapis.com (Google). It reads only the date and time in the answer. The request contains no identifier, no game data and nothing about you; like any internet request it carries your IP address and standard technical headers (such as the game engine's version), which the receiving server may keep in its usual short-lived logs. If the internet is off, nothing is sent; the game keeps working and the daily rewards wait until the phone is online once.

Sharing pictures of your gaadi

Photo mode makes a picture card of your gaadi. When you tap Share, Android's share sheet sends the picture and a short fixed text to the app you choose (for example WhatsApp). The text holds your score and a code that describes your gaadi's parts and paint; it holds no name or personal details. The game checks whether WhatsApp is installed only to show the right share button; that check is not sent anywhere. Nothing is shared unless you tap Share.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The game shows ads from Google AdMob in two ways:

There are no banner ads. The ad SDK and Google's consent tool start only after you have answered the age question.

How ads depend on your age group:

When ads are requested, the Google Mobile Ads SDK collects and shares data with Google as described in "How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services" (https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites): device and advertising identifiers (such as the Android advertising ID and app set ID), your IP address and approximate location, information about ad interactions, and diagnostics. Google uses it to show and measure ads and to prevent fraud. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device's Google settings. Every ad request asks for ads suitable for a general audience (maximum ad content rating: PG). If the internet is off, no ads are requested and the game still works.

Purchases

Coin packs, the starter pack, No Break Ads, Jugaad Passes, paint sets, part kits and season passes are sold through Google Play. Google processes the payment under its own privacy policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy). Coins cannot be traded, sold, gifted or turned into money, and nothing random is sold.

The game uses Unity's in-app purchasing library (Unity IAP) to talk to Google Play. When you start or complete a purchase, or when purchases are restored, Unity IAP sends Unity Technologies a purchase event containing:

Unity may also use your IP address to work out your approximate country; the IP address is not kept for that purpose. Unity uses this data to provide and improve its purchasing service, as described in Unity's privacy policy (https://unity.com/legal/privacy-policy). It is not used for advertising.

All data the ad and purchase libraries send is encrypted in transit.

13 May 2027

India's Digital Personal Data Protection Rules apply their duties for players under 18 from 13 May 2027. On that date the game, by the date on the phone and without an update, stops requesting ads for players under 18, and asks adults before it shows personalised ads. The whole game keeps working offline.

Children

The game is meant for players aged 13 and over and is not directed at children. If a player says they are under 13, the game requests no ads and sends nothing to Google for advertising; the game stays fully playable. Purchases still go through Google Play, where family controls apply.
